Average Drive Time from Baltimore, D.C., Virginia, Philly is about 2 1/2 hours.
You may be asking yourself why come all this way to make a skydive? Our answer to you is the overall experience you’ll get here including Instructor quality, customer service, and of course the view. Undoubtedly this is the reason you should choose Ocean City Skydiving Center to make your experience of a lifetime. Our past students will tell you it’s well worth the trip to the beach to make the entire day a pleasant one to remember from beginning to end!
We consider ourselves extremely lucky here at the beach because we do not have air traffic concerns of a metropolitan city and yet are located in a town where you and other family members can enjoy the day. The Federal Aviation Administration basically says that if you want to jump out of an airplane, you need to do it away from any congested metropolitan area. You might save a half an hour in drive time by traveling out to some cow pasture where you can enjoy a view of, well, cows. Or you can come to the Ocean City Skydiving Center and take in the incredible coastal and ocean views!
About 60-70% of our first time jumpers on the weekends come out for a day trip. With outlet shopping, go-kart tracks, the boardwalk, great restaurants, and of course the beach there’s literally fun for everyone! For this reason we try our best to stick to our schedule to get you in and out of here so you and your family and/or friends can watch you plummet to earth then enjoy the rest of your day in Ocean City.
